Riga involves students in developing the Mūkusala Territory Development Concept

Students will have an opportunity to get involved in the development of the Mūkusala Territory Development Concept - Public Outdoor Design. The objective of the innovative method of the project is to create interdisciplinary Latvian student working groups, which, under the supervision of the head manager, will develop a pilot development concept, in close cooperation with the pilot area's inhabitants and entrepreneurs. Students will submit the developed solutions to a professional jury that will decide on the winner.

Turku Future Hackathon 29.9.-1.10.2017

The City of Turku is organising "Turku Future Hackathon"  in cooperation with Elisa Oyj, Turku Science Park Ltd. and Turku Technology Properties on September 29 - October 1, 2017 in the premises of Spark Up Turku.  The aim behind the competition is to find new innovative solutions for regeneration of the Campus and Science Park area from developing services to implementing smart mobility concepts.

Baltic Urban Lab workshop II encouraged urban planners and visualization experts to test 3D visualization tools

On 15 June 2017, around 50 urban planners, researchers, city officials and visualization experts came together in Norrköping to test and learn more from the practical examples from Sweden and Finland of 3D models, visualization tools and other interactive participation tools to support public participation.
