 Got new brownfield case examples?

We are interested to learn about sustainable brownfield regeneration projects and case studies - if Your city has an excellent example of an old industrial building/area turned into lively neighbourhood with great recreational opportunities, we would like to hear from you!  Especially, when in the planning phase, you have utilized citizen participation and more inclusive urban planning processes for regenerating the area!

The case studies will then be collected and added to our digital database of Good Practices - find the examples of Citizen Participation and Brownfield Regeneration from the database! We have many from Riga but are missing good practices from other cities - so please be active!

For adding the case studies to the Database, we are using a common template with specific questions to fill in - in order for the case study to be as beneficial to other cities and developers as possible. You may acquire this template by contacting Baltic Urban Lab's Project Coordinator maija.rusanen [at] turku.fi (Maija Rusanen) or Project Officer kristiina.paju [at] turku.fi (Kristiina Paju).

Our project is active on social media and the good practices will gain visibility on our channels' as well as on the channels of the Lead Partner - UBC Sustainable Cities Commission
