New visualization tool called Earth Autopsy that has been under development in Norrköping, will be launched later today. The tool will make it possible to explore the underlying layers of a brownfield site.

The latest news from the Norrköping's Pilot Site highlight the start of the processes of soil remediation in the area and the finalization of the visualization tool. uring the last few weeks, the soil cleaning process has started in the Inner Harbour - first out is the so-called Kolkajen, furthest in the east in the area. The graffiti walls that were located in the area have now been moved a few hundred meters further away to make room for the ground cleaning works.

In the Pilot Site of Norrköping, the development of the new visualization tool has been making great progress. The aim of this new tool is to improve the capability of municipalities to make complex and costly environmental issues such as soil remediation, adaptation to rising sea levels and handling changing ground water levels understandable to common people.
